Bringing a freestyle approach to riding the entire mountain, this twin silhouette and soft flex of the K2 Metropolitan work hand in hand to help you step onto center stage and push your progression in the park and beyond.

It all begins with the Twin Combination Camber profile shape that gives the board liveliness and snap while remaining playful and predictable on all snow types.

Camber is placed strategically between the bindings for stability and pop, with just a touch of rocker toward the nose and tail for a hook-free feeling.

The Metropolitans Core is made from sustainably harvested timber that absorbs chatter and features a flex profile that has been explicitly scaled for women riders.

At the same time, biaxially woven fiberglass hugs the core and gives the board a fantastic edge hold on groomers, ice, or tricky approaches.

To make sure the board can stand up to daily park lapping, K2 used a rigid but fast Extruded 2000 base that looks as good as it slides.

• Uniquely shaped and designed to complement the mechanics, geometry, and riding style of female snowboarders, K2 rely heavily on aspen to make this core snappy and agile, while placing lightweight paulownia in the tip and tail to reduce swingweight and ease turn initiation.

• Fibers are woven together at 0° and 90°, creating a more forgiving flex pattern.
• A fiberglass weave intersecting at 90º angles provides the proper torsional flexibility and strength.

Bio Resin

• Bio-Resin is a replacement for traditional petroleum based resin that doesn't affect performance or usability.
• The ingredients that go into it are sourced as co-products or waste products of other industrial processes and are manufactured employing green chemistry techniques that reduce the carbon footprint of the material by up to 40% when compared to its petroleum based equivalent.

• Items will be repaired or replaced if, upon inspection at an authorized K2 Service Center by a K2 Warranty Service Technician, they are found to be defective in materials or workmanship.
