2026 Men's K2 Raider BOA Snowboard Boots - KB251296

Product Features

With upgraded fit and functionality comes progression, and that’s precisely what K2 had in mind when they designed the K2 Raider snowboard boot.

A long-time favorite of resort employees and progressing snowboarders alike, K2 packed all the essentials into the mix in the Raider, starting with an H4 Coiler BOA® Fit System.

This securely closes the shell using a TX3 BOA® lace for the perfect fit and helps to effortlessly get you in and out of your boots at the beginning and end of the day.

Next, They added Fast-In liner lacing to maximize fit and keep the liner snug against the contours of your feet.

No matter the shape of your foot, the ultra-warm, heat-moldable, and breathable Intuition® Comfort Foam 3D liner hugs every nook and cranny for a great fit right out of the box.

K2 added internal and external J-bars to the liner to increase responsiveness when turning, wrapping your ankles with support and cushion, and added an EVA footbed for comfort.

K2 built the whole thing on a grippy, lightweight rubber outsole for hiking and exploring new terrain and filled the midsole with our proprietary Harshmellow™ foam, helping to increase impact absorption and help dampen vibration underfoot.

Features

LACING

H4 COILER BOA® FIT SYSTEM WITH TX3 LACING

  • A cable and reel based lacing system that creates even tension and easy lacing operation. This system features low friction guides for even tightening.

  • TX3 is constructed from recycled PET with a structural core.

  • This lace provices a softer, more flexible look similar to the characteristics of a traditional lace but the superior closure of a BOA® system.

TX3 BOA® LACING

  • A softer lace explicitly made for snowboard boots that provides a more even fit over the body of the boot shell versus a steel lace.

LINER

INTUITION® COMFORT FOAM 3D LINER

  • Heat-moldable and constructed with softer Intuition® foam focusing on all-day comfort and long-lasting wear.

INTERNAL & EXTERNAL J-BARS

  • Adding J-Bars to a liner helps add structure and reduce heel lift.

3-POINT HARNESS LINER LACING

  • A traditional liner harness with a pull lace and three contact points hugs the ankle to provide additional support and unrivaled stability to help reduce fatigue.

CUSHIONING

HARSHMELLOW™ INSOLE

  • Freestyle-friendly single-density insole using Harshmellow™ from toe to heel for ultimate impact absorption.

ROLLSOLE™ OUTSOLE

  • RollSole Outsole design allows maximum medial mobility for tweaking grabs and, drop-knee turns.

FLEX AND RESPONSE

  • 5 out of 10 (1 Soft - 10 Stiff)

FLEX ZONE UPPER CUFF

  • The flex zone upper is designed to help retain a consistent flex pattern while reducing shell distortion when flexing.

Pros of BOA® Lacing

  • It is easy to fine-tune tightness with micro-adjustments
  • Pop out the coiler for quick and easy comfort on the lift or during après
  • All boot adjustments can be made while wearing gloves/mittens
  • A single-coiler system tightens and loosens evenly across the entire foot

Cons of BOA® Lacing

  • The coiler interface may take a couple of uses before it feels intuitive
  • It can be easy to over-tighten with BOA® and cause foot fatigue
  • A single-coiler system does not allow for independent tightness of the upper and lower zones
  • The BOA® coiler sticks off the boot and can get caught on things
  • Replacing a broken coiler or cable requires additional parts and can be complicated
  • BOA® lacing snowboard boots are generally more expensive

Strap

Strap
Strap bindings are the most common type of snowboard bindings, identifiable by the flexible straps (or a single strap) that secure the snowboard boot. A ratcheting buckle tightens these straps over the ankle and toe. With each strap being adjustable and capable of individual tightening, strap bindings offer excellent customization and support for riders.

Lacing
Boa

Boa
The BOA Fit System has become an industry standard in recent years, offering quick and easy twist-to-tighten functionality. It features a knob (known as the Coiler™) located on the front or side of the boot, which adjusts the boot's tightness through cables or ropes routed within the shell. Simply twist to tighten the laces, and pull the coiler out to loosen them.

Boot Liner
Heat Moldable

Heat Moldable
Boot liners can be heat molded by a professional to speed up the process of creating a customized fit around your foot. It's important to note that most liners will "pack out" and conform to the wearer's foot over time, so wearing them for extended periods can also help achieve a better fit.
