The Faction BOA® brings everyday performance and a first-rate fit for those looking to progress. Inspired by Salomon footwear DNA, this boot combines durability and comfort in a lightweight design with our Feather 1.0 outsole, offering shock absorption and grip, and a heat moldable liner. Dial it all in with BOA® Fit System for a secure fit.

Comfort: Fit To Ride construction with our Universal Liner provide unmatched out-of-the-box comfort for all types of feet, plus heat moldable materials for a customized fit.
Lacing: Equipped with BOA® Fit System's H4 BOA® Coiler and TX3 BOA® lace for increased performance and durability in all elements.
Lightweight: Fit To Ride construction and our Feather 1.0 outsole, built with at least 20% recycled materials, ensure a boot that’s durable and lightweight with a compact footprint.
Single BOA® Coiler™: Tried and true. Push the dial to engage, turn to tighten, pull to release. BOA® Coiler™ system quickly takes up lace slack, increasing speed of entry into the boot.
Feather 1.0: The Feather 1.0 outsole uses a combination of EVA and Contagrip® rubber for a balance of comfort, shock absorption, durability, and grip.

With each strap being adjustable and capable of individual tightening, strap bindings offer excellent customization and support for riders.

The BOA Fit System has become an industry standard in recent years, offering quick and easy twist-to-tighten functionality. It features a knob (known as the Coiler™) located on the front or side of the boot, which adjusts the boot's tightness through cables or ropes routed within the shell. Simply twist to tighten the laces, and pull the coiler out to loosen them.

Boot Liner

Boot liners can be heat molded by a professional to speed up the process of creating a customized fit around your foot. It's important to note that most liners will "pack out" and conform to the wearer's foot over time, so wearing them for extended periods can also help achieve a better fit.
