Burton X EST® Snowboard Bindings - 222341

The X EST® Snowboard Binding pairs the response of SpringBED suspension with the pro-caliber control of our a carbon blend ultra hi-back. Built for aggressive all-mountain riders, the freestyle minded zero-lean hi-back is micro-adjustable for the ideal stance. The EST® version offers enhanced flex and board feel and is only compatible with Burton Channel mount boards.

Binding Style

Strap / Burton EST
Strap bindings are the most common snowboard bindings, easily identified by the flexible straps (or a single strap) that secure the boot. A ratcheting buckle tightens the straps over the ankle and toe, and each strap is adjustable for personalized fit. The EST® mounting system has no hardware underfoot, includes a cushioned footbed for improved board feel, and offers unrestricted stance options. It is specifically designed for boards featuring the Channel™.

Binding Mount Pattern

Channel
The Channel replaced Burton’s 3D mounting pattern in 2014, featuring two parallel slots along the snowboard edges for each binding. This design allows nearly infinite mounting options using just two screws per binding. Although optimized for Burton’s EST Snowboard Bindings, it can also accommodate various other bindings with the right mounting discs. The Channel enables adjustments in stance width, angle, centering, and setback.

Canting refers to a footbed design where the outside of the feet is slightly elevated compared to the inside, resembling a wedge. This alignment aids in joint positioning, enhancing comfort and, in some cases, improving tip-to-tail response.
